The user guide of Acer Liquid Gallant Solo appeared a few days ago and another variant called the Acer Liquid Gallant Duo will feature a couple of SIM slots. Like some phone makers, Acer doesn’t intent to hold a separate press conference and hopefully it isn’t meant to trim their budget.
Both smartphones do seem look really identical, except for an extra SIM card slot on the latter. These won’t be high-end devices with earth-shattering features, instead we will get a 4.3” qHD display, 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 single-core processor, PowerVR SGX521 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, 5Mp of rear-facing camera (with LED flash) and microSD card slot. The phone will run Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) out of the box, along with Bluetooth 2.0, GPS and WiFi.
We can also expect the Surround Sound feature, which delivers crisp audio to users. Acer may add some customization to the ICS build and they will come in “ceramic white” and “gentle black” colors.
