Four new Archos Titanium smartphone models have walked on the red carpet to target those who seek decent handsets but don’t want to shell out too much money. Their price tags range from 100 Euros to 160 Euros, which should be appealing for any budget-conscious user. Their names correlate directly with display sizes they offer; the 40 Titanium has 4-inch WVGA display, 45 Titanium with 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 50 Titanium with 5-inch qHD display and the 53 Titanium with 5.3-inch FWVGA display.
They are all quite similar internally, with 1.3GHz MediaTek dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage. This configuration is more than adequate for typical tasks, such as voice/text communication, web browsing, social networking access and casual gaming. Under the coverage of a reliable network, users of all four devices can easily obtain 21Mbps of download speed (HSDPA) and 5.76Mbps of upload speed (HSUPA).
Other connectivity options include Bluetooth and WiFi. The preinstalled Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS brings popular apps, including the Google Play store. On the back, there’s a 5Mp camera with autofocus and LED. The dual-SIM slots also bring flexibility for busy individuals, since they no longer need to bring two devices with them everywhere.
