Oppo has confirmed the specifications and designs of two smartphone models, the R7 and R7 Plus. Many images of both devices have been released, with the R7 as the basic design, while the R7 Plus is the larger sibling. The Oppo R7 Plus has premium magnesium alloy design, which is also used by the R7.
The R7 comes with near edge-to-edge display and 2.5D curved glass technology. Three capacitive buttons are located below the display. The R7 Plus doesn’t have capacitive buttons, instead it will have on-screen buttons. The Oppo logo is located below the display, instead of on the back or above the display.
The R7 Plus also have integrated fingerprint scanner on the rear and it will work like similar component on the Oppo N3. Both smartphone models are equipped with VOOC Flash Charge technology that can charge the 3000mAh battery to 75 percent in just 30 minutes. Both models have MediaTek octa-core 64-bit MT6752 processor, 16GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM and the rather outdated Android 4.4.4 KitKat. They offer 4G LTE data connectivity, as well as 13Mp and 8Mp cameras, on the back and front, respectively.
