HTC Hima One (M9)

It is a good thing to know that HTC may take the wraps off its high-end smartphone model sooner than expected. The HTC Hima (M9) could be unveiled during the MWC event, but recent reports state that it could be unveiled next month instead, during the CES event.

HTC has some problems with the release cycle of its high-end models, because the HTC One (M8) was released last March. The M8 came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 5-inch Full HD display and 2GB of RAM. But it has been overtaken by numerous new models, such as the LG G3 with Quad HD display and 3GB of RAM. HTC may simply play catch up with the One (M9).

The HTC Home One (M9) will also be equipped with Quad HD resolution and 3GB of RAM. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor offers 64-bit capability and the Adreno 430 GPU should crunch graphics efficiently. The Sense UI 7.0 will be installed on top Android 5.0 Lollipop. A 13Mp snapper is included on the front and the rear-facing camera is based on the 20.7Mp sensor. The 2840mAh battery should be capable of delivering reasonable operational time with moderate usages.
