As the rest of world is eagerly anticipating for the LG Optimus Vu, the South Korean company is already preparing to launch the Optimus Vu 2 in the Korean market, which includes an infrared control unit and Q Remote application. The Optimus Vu 2 will be controlling many appliances and home entertainment systems, particularly those released by LG itself. This wicked awesome capability is something that many would love to see coming to their house. Additional specs for the phablet are a 5” display, 32GB of onboard storage and Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
The company hasn’t released any pricing information of the Optimus Vu II, but since it will have IR capabilities, users can get escape from those annoying moments when they lose remote controls. However, currently not all microwaves and refrigerators have IR port. With Q Remote feature, the LG Optimus Vu II will be world’s first all-in-one smart remote control device, which delivers highly differentiated user experience.
