Micromax Releases the Canvas A110

Micromax Canvas A110Micromax has released a smartphone with dual-SIM capability, the Superfone Canvas 2 A110, which is a direct improvement over the Canvas A100. Both use 5” 854 x 480 IPS capacitive display, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and even the same starting price. Obviously, the components used under the hood are remarkably better.

For starters, the new phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, instead of the single-core variant used by the original. Instead of 5Mp sensor used by Canvas A100, the A110 sports the significantly better 8Mp rear-facing camera, which has autofocus, geotagging, dual-LED flash, face detection and touch to focus.

Other features include VGA camera, external memory slot (supports up to 32GB of microSD card), 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 3.0 + A2DP, A-GPS, accelerator, proximity sensor and WiFi hotspot. The 2000mAh battery delivers up to 180 hours of standby time and 5 hours of talk time.
