A latest set of images posted show a fully assembled front panel of Apple’s upcoming smartphone, the iPhone 5 and they show more parts than we’ve seen in previous leaks with a fully attached LCD. Latest images not only show the LCD on the front panel, but also a home buttons that’s secured tightly by a metal bracket. There is also the shielding frame for the display that was seen earlier and a front-facing camera that’s placed behind an additional shielding.
While the front part of the device is remarkably similar to the iPhone 4S, cameras and sensors seem to be placed in different spots and the display looks taller. The forthcoming iPhone 5 may use unibody design, which incorporate rear and side shells.
The phone should be introduced in a media event at September 12 and these new images are definitely the most complete we’ve seen so far. The source of the images, Apple.pro, also released images of the 3rd generation iPad (new iPad), which accurately showed us that it would be slightly thicker than the iPad 2.
