Cricket Wireless has officially announced the launch of Nokia Lumia 1320. The company is a subsidiary of the larger AT&T and it has 3000 stores throughout the United States. The phone is a phablet-like device with 6-inch 720p display and 245ppi of pixel density. Other features of the phone include the rather old 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Adreno 305 GPU, 8GB of internal storage, VGA front-facing camera, 5Mp rear-facing camera, 3400mAh battery and microSD card slot with 64GB capacity.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 + A2DP, WiFi hotspot, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE connectivity. There are different color options users can choose from, including red, black, white and yellow. Phablets with 6-inch display could seem to be slightly oversized, but it is a good 2-in-1 solution for users seeking to have voice calling, surfing, texting and multimedia support capabilities at one device.
Customers could get $50 credit toward new handset, if they make twelve on-time payments. The service plan starts at $35 with $5 for auto-pay credit. With multi-line accounts, subscribers could get four lines at only $100. The Lumia 1320 is clearly cheaper than the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, a similar device with much powerful hardware specs.
