Word has it that we will be getting a refresh of the once popular Samsung Galaxy S2. The Plus version of the phone may eventually arrive on Q1 2013. Running Android 4.1 out of the box and sporting a rather limited 8GB of onboard storage, the Galaxy S2 Plus would be available in Dark Blue and Chic White.
With a 4.3” Super-AMOLED Plus display, the Galaxy S2 Plus might be slightly larger than the Galaxy S3 Mini. Unfortunately, this information came from an anonymous source and it is a bit hasty to consider it as a real truth. It is believed that the Galaxy S2 Plus would sit somewhere between the Samsung Premier and Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.
The Premier comes with a larger 4.65” Super-AMOLED Plus display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. For now, that’s our lot on the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus and if the phone is on cards, we should expect the South Korean company to make an official confirmation pretty soon.
