The Sony LT29i, codenamed “Hayabusa”, has been rumored for a couple months now as Sony’s next flagship. It looks like the phone is going to be called the Sony Xperia TX and this could simply mean a phone that’s superior compared to a previous model, the Sony Xperia T. Just like Samsung and Apple, Sony needs to leverage its “Xperia” brand, which allows people to easily remember their phone models.
Effective brand utilization could help Sony to make a comeback in the industry; preferably by continue to impress consumers with exquisite design. Based on previous rumors, the Sony Xperia TX may boast the following specs: 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.6” 720p display, 13Mp rear-facing camera, Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.4) and onscreen buttons.
The Japanese company is expected to hold an event at the end of the month, days before IFA. During the opportunity, Sony will be unveiling Xperia tablet, Sony Xperia LT25 and Sony Xperia TX. Those who are fans of Sony devices should keep themselves updated to upcoming news.
