There are many big stories in China’s mobile industry and Xiaomi is one of them. A few months ago, the company introduced the Mi2, which is extremely powerful and affordable. Now, consumers in China would be glad to know that a new device called the Xiaomi Mi2S has been released. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and it seems to overpower the Samsung Galaxy S4 in benchmark results.
Running at 1.7GHz, the quad-core chip contributes to the whopping 25,913 score on AnTuTu, while the Samsung Galaxy S4 recorded a lower score of 25,446. This is quite impressive considering the fact that the Mi2S is much more affordable than the Galaxy S4. For $322, we can get a 16GB model with 8Mp rear-facing camera and $370, for the 32GB model with a 13Mp rear-facing camera. Both models are equipped with a 4.3” 720p display and 2GB of RAM.
Xiaomi also introduced the more affordable Mi2A, which is cheaper at $239. It comes equipped with more humble specs sheet, including 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
