Dubbed the P6-U06, Huawei’s next handset would be hailed as the slimmest in the world. The phone has been approved by an official agency in China and it seems to be really close to being unveiled. At only 6.18mm thin, the phone will overtake the competition as the world’s slimmest handset.
The P6-U06 will sport 4.7” 720p display, which is not too remarkable. The 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM should make multitasking performance painless. The phone is equipped with photography solution common on many mid-range smartphones, such as 2Mp front-facing camera and 8Mp rear-facing camera.
Available connectivity features include GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB slot. Available in pink, black and white colors, the phone will have Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OS installed out of the box. Since the phone is certified only in China so far, there’s a possibility that the rest of the world will never see it. Hopefully, Huawei’s official announcement will say otherwise.
