Motorola MOTOLUXE Review

Motorola MOTOLUXEMotorola MOTOLUXE is a smartphone equipped with entry-level features. It comes with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) placed below the MotoSwitch UI. The phone features a 4” WVGA display, 800MHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM and an enhanced version of Adreno 200.

Flip the phone around and you’ll find an 8Mp rear-facing camera with a LED flash, geotagging, white balance presets, exposure compensation and autofocus. It is unfortunate that the camera can only record 640 x 480 videos. A VGA camera sits on the front, which can help immensely when you want to start a video chat session. The 1400mAh battery is claimed to give 6.5 hours of talk time and 420 hours of standby time.

The phone has a notification light that can also be used to attach a lanyard. The colored lighting is useful when you want to know quickly whether a text message arrives.  Measuring at 9.85mm, the MOTOLUXE is adequately thin, although a bit heavier at 124 grams.
