The long wait has ended for users of Samsung Galaxy S2 as the Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.2) update is being rolled out in Spain. This could be the beginning of a long process to push the major update to millions of Galaxy S2 owners around the world. With its arrivals, users can get significant changes in features and experience.
The interface would be similar to the Galaxy S3 with Nature UX version of TouchWiz UI. There will be Project Butter, Google Now and Samsung’s own addition including Pop-Up Play, S Cloud and a collection of new widgets.
The update will be available through Kies software for PC and over the air methods. It’s not clear how Samsung will bring this update to other regions, but as always it will first arrive to standard, international version of the phone in other areas. Folks with carrier-supplied units should sit tight, though and expect carriers like T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T and Verizon would among the last to roll out the major update.
