Gone are the days when the mobile industry is only brimming with the expectation each time the next Apple iPad and iPhone models are about to be released. The tech world is now churning out speculations and rumors about Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S4. A newly leaked benchmark result has taken rumors to a new height.
The much anticipated Galaxy S4 has made two appearances via the Antutu benchmark database. There seem to be two variants of the Galaxy S4, the International version (GT-I9500) and the Korean version (SHV0E300S). Both are listed to feature Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) OS and rather amazingly, the 1.8GHz Exynos 5 Octa octo-core processor.
Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa octo-core processor is based on ARM’s latest architecture, the big.LITTLE and it will also be used to power the Galaxy Note 3. Unfortunately, benchmark results can’t confirm anything and we should take them with a bucketful of salt. Even if these devices are really exist, there’s a possibility that they actually be prototypes to test the new processor.
