It seems only like yesterday we first heard about the Galaxy Note brand and now, Samsung is already planning to release two new more models, the Galaxy Note III and Galaxy Note 8.0. According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will have features similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1, but with smaller form factor.
It’s also possible that the device will come in two versions, WiFi-only and the other WiFi + 3G. The tablet will have 8” 1280 x 800 display, 5” Mp rear-facing camera, 1.3Mp front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of onboard storage and microSD card slot. A later version of Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) is allegedly to ship with the Note 8.0.
The 8” form factor now seems to make more sense for Android tablet manufacturers, as it bridges the wide gap between 7” display and 10.1” display. No word on processor type, availability and price of this new device, but we may get more details at MWC 2013, next month.
