Acer Liquid Glow

Acer Liquid GlowAcer Liquid Glow is another mid-ranger among the Android crowd with its 3.7” WVGA capacitive, multi-touch display; capable of delivering 252ppi to ensure an overall smooth graphics representation on the display. If you are bored with smartphones that come with only one color shade, you’ll be glad to know that the Liquid Glow also has various color schemes, such as Cat’s-eye Black, Alpine White and Sakura Pink. It is quite unfortunate that the Liquid Glow is powered by the outdated 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A single core processor. Although slightly enhanced, the Adreno 200 GPU won’t be able to deliver acceptable performance when playing intense 3D games.

The 512MB of RAM is something we should expect from a mid-range handset and the 1GB of onboard storage would limit the number of apps installed. A microSD slot allows users to insert up to 32GB of memory card. The 5Mp rear-facing camera is equipped with autofocus, geotagging and LED flash. NFC is a nice addition, but this could be negated somewhat by the lack of front-facing snapper.
