Sony Xperia ZU is a highly anticipated device in the market and newly leaked screenshots have confirmed expectations on the visual appearance of this smartphone model. However, instead of using 6.44” display, the ZU will have a slightly smaller usable display at 6.21”. The difference is caused by the navigation bar.
While .23 of an inch is a big difference on many smartphone models, this doesn’t sound like a lot for the Xperia ZU. The phone is one of the largest of the market, but the crown still goes to Samsung’s mid-range smartphone model, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 with a 6.3” panel.
The system info page also confirms the rest of the rumored specs and the Xperia ZU will have the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU and Jelly Bean (Android 4.2.2) OS. There are also 2GB of RAM for enhanced multitasking performance and 16GB of RAM. In essence, everything we have heard about the Xperia ZU is true, except for the slight reduction in screen size.
