A few days ago, we seen leaked pictures showing a couple of interchangeable smartphone lens, which can be connected to the Android smartphones or the iPhone via a magnet.
The DSC-QX100 comes with 20.2Mp camera sensor, 3.6x zoom and f/1.8 Carl Zeiss lens. The lens includes components from Sony’s RX100M II camera. The DSC-QX10 a lower-end model with parts borrowed from the WX150 camera. It has 18Mp CMOS sensor paired with the f/3.5 lens. Both lenses are equipped with display panel, microphone, power button, multifunctional jack, zoom level, dedicated shutter button and tripod mount.
However, the DSC-QX10 includes microSD card slot and battery life indicator. If this report is accurate, then both lenses will work as sophisticated accessories that provide us added control. They would provide much better photography capability to high-end smartphone models. We may expect to see both lens unveiled along with the Sony i1 Honami in IFA 2013 event at Berlin.
